The Spanish national team is playing against France in the semifinals of the 2024 European Championship, taking place on Tuesday, July 9th.
France opened the scoring first, with Kolo Muani netting a goal in the ninth minute from a Kylian Mbappé assist. However, Spain responded swiftly. In the 21st minute, Lamine Yamal equalized. As a result, the 16-year-old became the youngest player to score a goal in the history of the European Championships.
He is now 16 years, 11 months and 27 days old. He also gave three assists in this tournament.
