Roma with their European tie delicately poised after a challenging match in Portugal, face a visit to Serie A strugglers Parma.

Roma’s 1-0 win over Venezia extended their unbeaten league run to eight games under interim boss Claudio Ranieri, with Paulo Dybala netting their seventh penalty of the season. However, Dybala later picked up an injury in a 1-1 Europa League draw with Porto, a heated clash that saw Zeki Celik score before Bryan Cristante was sent off.  

Roma, who recently ended a long away drought with two straight wins, now face Parma – a side they thrashed 5-0 in December. While Parma have beaten Roma in their last two meetings at Stadio Tardini, coach Fabio Pecchia is under pressure after four losses in six matches.  

The Gialloblu have suffered three straight defeats, sliding into the drop zone, with their recent goals coming from defenders – a sign of their struggles up front.
